Get Involved

UWE Bristol has created a mentoring scheme for its current students. The aim is to link property professionals with current BSc and MSc Real Estate students to provide the students with some contacts in the industry.

Details

  • Primarily aimed at undergraduate students just starting their first or second year and MSc students that have just started until they graduate.
  • Mentor and mentee should try to meet every two or three months.
  • Meet in person or online (we would suggest meeting in person the first few times).
  • One-hour meetings.
  • Talk about job applications, market information and do’s and don’ts in industry and how to build your network.
  • Help students get internships and provide help for interviews and applications.
  • Mentor and mentee will stay linked for the duration of the study (unless either party wants to change).
  • We have no remuneration available for mentors.
